Dr. Ziad Najm focuses his practice on complex, high-stakes dispute resolution, advising and representing corporate entities, state institutions, and high-net-worth individuals in civil and commercial litigation before foreign and domestic courts as well as international arbitral tribunals. His enforcement practice encompasses cross-border execution of arbitral awards and court judgments, commercial fraud litigation, multi-jurisdictional asset tracing, and emergency interim relief. In corporate governance, he regularly manages shareholder deadlocks, partnership dissolutions, directors' liability claims, and post-M&A warranty disputes.

In insurance and reinsurance, Dr. Najm serves as primary local counsel for leading global reinsurers including Munich Re, Swiss Re, Zurich, Partner Re, R&V, Mapfre, and Scor. He directs complex coverage disputes, subrogation actions, and regulatory compliance matters across property, casualty, liability, and business interruption sectors. Notably, he was appointed by global reinsurers to handle high-exposure, multi-party insurance litigation arising from the Beirut Port Explosion.

His maritime and shipping practice covers both wet and dry shipping disputes on behalf of shipowners, charterers, P&I Clubs, and cargo interests. He litigates charterparty breaches, bills of lading disputes, damaged cargo claims, general average, ship arrests, and casualty liabilities. On the transactional side, Dr. Najm handles vessel registrations, marine mortgages, contract negotiations, and the sale and purchase of commercial vessels and superyachts.

In general corporate and commercial matters, Dr. Najm structures cross-border commercial representations, international sale of goods contracts, franchising agreements, and distribution networks. His corporate team advises on joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, asset purchases, offshore and holding company incorporations, as well as employment, fiscal, and commercial lease agreements across diverse legal regimes.
